All Levels | One of the hardest jobs we have as fiction writers is deciding how and where to stop. In this one-day class, we’ll examine some of the classic endings in literature, explore the different styles and purposes of an ending, and discuss strategies for our own. To get the most out of this class, students should have a work-in-progress—anything from an outline to a finished manuscript—and provide an ending of their own (or another they admire) for discussion.
Beginning Fall 2021, we will be adding select in-person classes back to our course catalog. The majority of our classes will still be offered via Zoom.
If a class says IN-PERSON in its title, it will take place in person at our permanent home in Seattle.
If a class says ASYNCHRONOUS in its title, it will take place on Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform.
If a class does not have a marker after its title, it will take place via Zoom.
