Museum as Muse: Writing at the Frye

All Levels | We’ll make the Frye Art Museum our muse while taking advantage of Hugo House’s current proximity to one of Seattle’s landmark museums. We’ll take in current exhibitions and focus on the core of the museum, the salon’s permanent collection. As time permits, we’ll meditate upon the highlights of past retrospectives by Dario Robleto and others. There will be weekly writing assignments, read-arounds, and instructor feedback. Keep in mind that the Frye is always free!

Beginning Fall 2021, we will be adding select in-person classes back to our course catalog. The majority of our classes will still be offered via Zoom.

If a class says IN-PERSON in its title, it will take place in person at our permanent home in Seattle.

If a class says ASYNCHRONOUS in its title, it will take place on Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform.

If a class does not have a marker after its title, it will take place via Zoom.
