Intermediate | In this class, we’ll continue the in-depth exploration of the publishing process and identify and send to three new markets (perfect for the fall, when many re-open for submissions). We’ll also dive deeply into the process of revision to take existing poems and shape them into their most successful form, with the aim of feeling entirely confident in the poems we send out for publication consideration. Students will participate in a poetry workshop and practice several individual and small-group revision techniques to make each of their poems find its optimal form. Open to all, even those who haven’t taken Poetry & Publishing, Part 1. Interested students may contact the instructor with questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Beginning Fall 2021, we will be adding select in-person classes back to our course catalog. The majority of our classes will still be offered via Zoom.
If a class says IN-PERSON in its title, it will take place in person at our permanent home in Seattle.
If a class says ASYNCHRONOUS in its title, it will take place on Wet Ink, our asynchronous learning platform.
If a class does not have a marker after its title, it will take place via Zoom.
